Sensory trips through New Zealand for blind and low-vision travellers

Not all vision
needs eyes.

Two guides, with you from start to finish. No limits.

What are our trips like?

Lived through your hands, your ears and your skin

New Zealand is far away. But it doesn't have to feel out of reach.

We've designed experiences so that blind and low-vision people can discover this country with safety, independence and excitement.

Feeling the breeze and cold water on your face at Milford Sound. Sensing the geothermal heat of Rotorua. Running your hands over the carvings of Māori designs. Stepping through the door of Bilbo's house and into Hobbiton like a real hobbit.

And this is only the beginning.

Because the best way to get to know New Zealand isn't always with your sight, but with all your senses.

What you'll live

Our way of exploring New Zealand

We set no limits on adventure. Every route blends adrenaline, sensory immersion and authentic Māori culture.

what will you feel?

Adrenaline and challenge

Paragliding in Queenstown, kayaking in Kaikōura, jet boats. No mental limits.

Sensory immersion

Touch, smell and hearing as your guide: Hobbiton, Rotorua, Milford Sound, Te Puia.

Culture and connection

The moko, the hāngi, the song of the whales through a hydrophone in Kaikōura.

Young Māori man performing a haka at a cultural show, wearing a traditional bone necklace and piupiu skirt, pulling out his tongue in a ceremonial gesture of challenge
Living culture

The hāngi, the moko, the haka: Māori culture is lived up close, not watched from a distance.

This is how the adventure feels

Who said paragliding was only for some people?

At Watchout we believe adventure knows no limits. It knows curiosity, excitement, and people eager to throw themselves into experiences they'll remember for a lifetime.

This is one of our travellers flying over Queenstown. The wind on your face, the sense of freedom and that mix of nerves and excitement right before take-off… some moments stay with you forever.

Two ways to live it

Same route, you choose your format: in a small group with set dates, or private and at your own pace.

The shared adventure

16 days across New Zealand · group of 3 to 6 travellers + the two of us

A small group of travellers with the same eagerness as you to explore the world. Over 16 days we'll travel New Zealand together, sharing adventures, laughter and moments you'll remember for a lifetime. Because some trips end… and others give you friendships forever. We'll be by your side every step of the way, from the first day to the last.

Your trip, tailor-made

Private · just for you and yours · length at your own pace

A trip designed just for you, and for whoever you want to bring along. The two of us, exclusively, designing it at your pace: your days, your energy, your time. If you want more calm, more calm. If you want more adrenaline, more adrenaline. There's no mould here. There's a trip we make to measure, like a tailored suit.

We've got a date!
